Barack Obama's Speech
Tags:
Barack Obama's speech yesterday was one of the best political speeches I've ever heard; however, Obama is living in a dream world. He pictures our country with people of color being treated equal and successful white citizens and rich white corporations being considered evil.
I consider myself a middle class White American who experienced the American dream of success, not because I'm white but because my father and mother raised me properly.
I would have thought a lot more of Obama if he would have recognized the real problem facing people of color, there's too many of them here! Why spend millions of taxpayer's dollars trying to furnish health care, jobs and other benefits to people of color without convincing them to stop having so many babies out of wedlock? The more babies they have the harder we hard working white folks and rich white corporations have to work to support them.

Were you dropped on your head as a child or are you just preternaturally ignorant? What is your citation for Obama's picturing of "people of color being treated equal and successful white citizens and rich white corporations being considered evil"? I am unaware of this position or any similar statement made by Sen. Obama. Please provide me a source. (I saw it on Fox News, is not a sufficient citation).
Furthermore, I am curious as to how you subscribe a racial attachment to a corporation since a corporation is not a person in the traditional sense of the word and thus has no racial identity. Perhaps you are tracking the demography of the shareholders on a daily basis?
Given that Obama is descended from a āwhiteā mother and a āblackā father, why is he then considered black and not white? I suppose under your analysis one drop of black blood 'spoils' the rest?
I think the issue of illegitimacy and the concomitant societal affects is an important conceren. It is unfortunate that you had to cheapen the analysis by reducing it to a racial polemic.
I must apologize. Successful white citizens and rich white corporations were quotes of Reverend Wright and not Obama. I may have seen it on Fox News; however, being the typical white male, with clicker in hand, it could have been any channel; however, your reply was impressive.
I may have been dropped on my head as a child but you certainly weren't. To read your reply I had to consult my Websters several times. Preternaturally, concomitant - - - Now those are words that have never entered my vocabulary. I was always taught "Keep it simple stupid".
I may have erred again by considering Obama black. I should have said "a man of color"; however, Obama's wife is sure black. I was raised by religious parents and taught that all men are created equal not "different" as Reverend Wright teaches.
My outlook on people of color has changed through the years. After watching the news and seeing the number of black criminals far outnumbers their proportion in our society, after listening to Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other famous blacks making a fortune trying to convince everyone that blacks need treated differently and after seeing the NAACP, BET and other black organizations I wonder. What if there were organizations to advance Whites and White Entertainment Television?
While watching the Penguins with friends a commercial came on and the host clicked to the Discovery Channel. There was a documentary showing the life of black villagers in the Congo as they live today. Someone jokingly said "That could be Obama's relative". Someone said the only two societies that didn't invent the wheel were the blacks of Africa who carried everything on their head and the American Indian that used two poles behind their horse. Another guy said "If blacks never had guns our country's crime rate would drop dramatically and we wouldn't have to spend so much tax money supporting them in jail".
I'm amazed that we live in a free country with freedom of speech yet the N---- word is now more offensive then the F--- word. Stand outside just about any high school and you'll hear young girls, especially young black girls, use the F--- word continuously.
