A single lane restriction in each direction is posted through August for Nicholson Road Bridge in the Sewickley Hills-Ohio Township-Franklin Park areas.

Work will continue around-the-clock to resurface the road and repair dams, according to the state Department of Transportation.

PennDOT had initially announced plans to close the bridge.

The project is part of the $61 million, 6.6 mile work along I-79.
