Someone allegedly vandalized a sport utility vehicle and motorcycle at a McCready Avenue home overnight May 7. The motorcycle's two tires, along with the leather seat, were slashed.
Sewickley Police were called to the 300 block of Henry Ave. on May 10 for a house alarm report. When officers arrived, they questioned a neighborhood child who said he was looking for a friend when he opened the back door and the alarm sounded.
A Quaker Valley Middle School student reported that someone stole his bicycle seat while it was parked overnight May 9 at the school bike rack. The seat was from a black-and-white Schwinn 10-speed bicycle.
Police were called to the 800 block of Centennial Avenue on May 8 after a resident complained of hearing what sounded like pit bulls fighting. Police searched the area but found nothing. They attempted to speak with the complainant but there was no answer.
An Osborne resident returning home from vacation reported that someone stole her swing in the back yard in the 900 block of Academy Place. The swing is green and has a steel frame.
