Donald Gene Benjamin, 76, of Sewickley, passed away on June 26, 2008. Born in Endicott, N.Y., to the late Everett L. and Della E. Cobb Benjamin, he graduated as class president in 1949 from Johnson City High School.

After he served in the Air Force, he graduated from Bowling Green University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and went on to receive his master's degree in business from Case Western Reserve University.

He went on to a 30-year career with Federal Reserve Bank, retiring as vice president of operations in Pittsburgh in 1986. He retired to Pinehurst, N.C., where he was a member of Pinehurst Country Club and enjoyed many years of golf and good friends.

Returning to the Pittsburgh area in 2007, he lived at Masonic Village of Sewickley and was a member of the Edgeworth Club.

Mr. Benjamin was the husband of the late Grace Clark Benjamin.

He is survived by his children, Eric, Mark and daughter-in-law, Ann, all of Cleveland; and Richard, and daughter-in-law, Suzan, Craig, and daughter-in-law, Jill, all of Sewickley.

He also is survived by his grandchildren, David, Rebecca and Julianna Benjamin; Hillarie and Bridget Clark; and many good friends and neighbors.

Private services will be in Pinehurst with interment in Vestal, N.Y.
