Exhibits tout ceramic arts
Sweetwater Center for the Arts will celebrate the ceramic arts throughout March.
An exhibit of four nationally and internationally recognized ceramic artists titled "Juicy Terracotta" will be displayed in conjunction with Pittsburgh's Convention Center show March 19 to 22.
The exhibit, which brings together the work of Helen Otterson, Kari Radasch, Ayumi Horie and Elizabeth Coleman, two sculptors and two potters, will open with a reception tomorrow, Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Sweetwater instructors will participate in a Clay Work exhibit in Sweetwater's foyer.
This exhibit also runs through April 4.
Artists include Alexandra Watrous, Duncan MacDiarmid, Yoko Sekino-Bove, Charlotte Tolliver, Megan Shane, and D. Zoe Shutka. The Instructor Clay Work exhibit is also on display through April 4.
Sweetwater is located at 200 Broad St., Sewickley.
