Sewickley resident Lisa G. Anderson has been named Parkvale Financial Services' investment representative for southeast Ohio and the West Virginia panhandle.

Anderson joins a team of skilled investment professionals at Parkvale Financial Services.

Before joining Parkvale Financial Services, Anderson served as a financial service advisor for MetLife Financial Services and as a sales manager for AFLAC.

She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration at Northeastern University in Boston, and is an active member of the Quaker Valley Rotary and the Pittsburgh Airport Chamber of Commerce.

She is a former member of the Commonwealth Business Exchange and other notable professional associations.

Dr. Berry honored by medical societies

George J. Berry, M.D., was one of 30 physicians recognized by the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Allegheny County Medical Society for his 50 years of service to the medical profession (based on the year of graduation from medical school) as well as to the community.

The event was held Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Duquesne Club, Pittsburgh, as part of the Allegheny County Medical Society annual dinner.

The program included the installation of Officers and the Physicians Awards Presentation where Dr. Berry was honored with the presentation of a plaque and a pin.

Berry is a resident of Edgeworth, where he has resided with his wife, Gloria, for more than 40 years.

They are the parents of two grown sons, George J. Berry III and William G. and Pam Berry; and grandparents of three boys.
